Questions

Questions worth asking before you buy

The honest answers to the things a careful buyer actually wants to know — no marketing fog.

What happens if my Wi-Fi drops or the internet goes down?

Watering still runs. The climate model and the decision to open a valve live on Master Pebble, the hub in your garden — not in the cloud. Internet is only needed for checking in from your phone; the water doesn't wait for it.

What if a valve gets stuck open — could it flood my garden?

No. Every valve opens with a hardware shut-off timer, so the water stops even if the software crashes mid-run. If unexpected flow is detected anyway, the master valve closes immediately rather than quietly draining the tank onto the patio. A weak battery is never asked to open a valve it might not be able to close — a skipped run beats a stuck one.

Is this hard to install?

Five minutes, then you forget it exists. Plug in Master Pebble and give it power and Wi-Fi once. Twist a valve onto each tap — it finds itself, names itself, and joins the gang in seconds. Sketch your patches in the app and tell it what's growing; the engine takes it from there.

Where does my data go?

The watering engine runs on the hub in your own garden, not on a faraway server — no cloud, no drama. The app is just for checking in and adjusting your garden; the brains, and the decisions, stay on your hardware.

Can I rename the valves?

Yes — rename any of them, any time. The cheek stays in the name; the status always tells you the plain truth about what's actually happening in your garden.
